For Maureen (Mo) Saul, stories are at the heart of what connects people.
She knows that powerful stories shape belief and inspire action. In her work as a Design Strategist she is able to uncover the stories that connect people to communities, to brands, and to each other. Mo’s love of storytelling, eye for detail, and pride in accuracy are expressed daily.
Prior to joining Smallbox, Mo earned a degree in Marketing from the College of Charleston, and built her expertise in both tactical and strategic marketing, advertising, project management, and PR inside a host of amazing non-profit organizations – Cincinnati Horticultural Society, Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Arts Council of Indianapolis. She nurtured her passion for stories through photography and creative writing classes, publishing articles about her travels while studying in Italy, and becoming a docent at the University of Chicago’s Oriental Institute.
When not working, you can find Mo seeking out an adventure with her husband and son, mixing up a cocktail, or with her nose in a book – an obsessive reader of fiction with a fondness for self-published authors (being one herself).
