  • Be able to do heads down research and tactical production, as well as collaborative tasks like leading client sessions and informing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest web design trends as they relate to UI/UX

Must have…

  • Proven history of creating original, innovative, and strategically sound digital and web solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, UX Design, or Human Computer Interaction, an equivalent degree, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS required
  • Experience with human-centered design practices
  • Ability to tell compelling project stories to clients
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and integrating your ideas with theirs
  • Strategic communication skills in verbal, written, and visual presentation experience; you understand the value of design and brand within a business context
  • Extensive experience across a variety of media and tools (Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office)

Nice to have…

  • Direct experience working with robust websites and diverse technologies
  • Proficiency in human-centered design
  • Experience with visual design
  • Creative agency, media agency, publishing, or brand marketing experience
  • Experience working with mission driven organizations
  • Presentation and sales experience

  • A commitment to acknowledging and honoring others’ humanity
  • The ability to listen deeply and act with empathy and compassion
  • Ability to zoom in and out, designing at detail and the system levels
  • A desire to learn about and design with people from all walks of life
  • The courage to protect and elevate vulnerable identities throughout the design process
  • The ability to generate ideas and take action in ways that acknowledge differing identities

Salary & Benefits
