Our dear Lydia has that uber-rare mix of left and right brain skills: Design and code. Technology and nature. These worlds collide in all of her passion projects.
As one of SmallBox's senior team members, she doesn't shy away from challenging team members to take their work to the next level and constantly collaborate. She is our design rock: advocating fiercely for users and striving to make human-centered design a priority in all SmallBox projects. In her role as Design Director, she serves on the leadership team and heads up professional development for our designers. In 2013, she earned her Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at IUPUI.
Lydia also serves as an effective culture instigator. As one of the founders of the SmallBox institutions 24 Hour Web Project and ThinkKit, she is proud of the community-oriented work that the company has accomplished during her tenure.
If she's not at SmallBox, Lydia is most likely hanging with her main squeeze, Jerome, hiking around one of Indy's parks with her four-legged pal Isabel or working on her yoga skillz (yes, with a "z"). Lydia also served on the board of directors for Indiana Canine Assistance Network and co-founded the Indy UX Salon, a meetup group for user experience professionals.
