Trifecta of Thanks

December 24, 2014

Before I check out for a nice holiday break and head off to spend time with family, I want to take a moment to express thanks to our SmallBox family.

I'm grateful for...

...our clients, who extend us an enormous amount of trust (& are fun to work with too!)
I've been on the other side, and I know hiring an agency is like a real-world trust fall with big implications. This year, we helped clients find their core values, their voice. We helped lay the foundation for 5-year strategic plans. We designed brands and websites that will serve our partners for many years to come. I'm so thankful that we get this opportunity to do meaningful work. That we have fun while we work side by side makes it all even better.

...a team who inspires me every day.
I know I'm biased, but it's pretty cool to work alongside some of the most creative people I've ever known, all under one roof. It constantly pushes me to up my game. This year especially I noticed our team experimenting with our process and inventing new collaborative exercises. I can't wait to see what 2015 brings after all we've learned and accomplished this year.

...and finally, a culture that let's us play hard too.
As you can see, we take having fun seriously. Thanks to the team for all of the laughs this year.

Cheers to what's ahead in 2015!

Today's prompt: "A Dash Of Thanks. What are you thankful for? Maybe it's from this year – or maybe it's something in your past that resonated with you recently. And – we hold people, places, and things in equal regard: a sense of gratefulness can take many forms."
