2014 is winding to a close and what a great ride it has been! I can't say that much has changed for me and that's quite all right! I spent the year being generally happy and content and all around excited for what's next. I've met some fantastic people, gone on excellent vacations, moved into a new era of adulthood and I have spent a great amount of time celebrating many milestones with my great group of friends. I'll call this the year of weddings, babies, and turning 30! That's a heck of a lot for one year! So, settle in and let's take a little trip down memory lane.

The year started with a bit of a bang as I left my 20's behind and moved into my 30's. To shepherd this big change, I spent the weekend with my favorite people in a cabin high up in the Great Smokey Mountains.

In fact, we celebrated three other 30th birthdays this year, each marked by a grand celebration. Here are some great photos of the celebrations we had in Nashville, Atlanta, and Indianapolis.

Tour of Indianapolis for Sarah!

A rainy music festival in Atlanta for Jen (technically 2013, but it still counts)!

And the sights and sounds of Nashville for Alicia!

My family hasn't been on a real family vacation since I was in high school and in March that changed! My brother moved to Santa Barbara after gradutating college (almost 10 years ago!) to pursue his Master's degree at UC Santa Barbara and fell in love with California. Unfortunately, this means we don't get to see him as much as we like, so my parents and I headed to California to visit Wade. It was great to build new memories with my family. I especially appreciated adding wine tasting into the family vacation mix!

Weddings! Babies! Oh my! It was the cool thing to do this year. I was super excited to celebrate the wedding of Gary and Christina this summer and Kit and Emily just a few weeks ago.

Here are two of my favorite photo booth photos:

And our little group of friends got even bigger when Evan joined the crew. I'm also looking forward to meeting little Ada after Christmas. I don't have any adorable pictures of her just yet, a few weeks to go for that gal!

There you have it! A few of the big moments of 2014 – I wonder what 2015 holds?
